ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Loupely LLC

Effective Date: April 1, 2026  |  Last Updated: May 29, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the conduct Loupely LLC requires of all users of the Loupely product, including the Chrome extension, the WordPress plugin, the account system at useloupely.com and loupely.co, and all associated infrastructure (collectively, the “Services”). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Loupely Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

The Services exist to give website owners the diagnostic visibility they need to identify and resolve problems on their sites. That purpose shapes every rule in this document. Use that advances it is permitted. Use that undermines it, or that imposes costs on Loupely or other users without corresponding benefit, is not.

1. Authorized Use

You may use the Services to:

  • diagnose functional failures on WordPress websites you own;
  • diagnose functional failures on WordPress websites you manage on behalf of their owners as part of your professional freelance or agency services (Agency Annual plan holders);
  • generate structured capture files for delivery to developers or other technical professionals assisting you with your site;
  • generate and act on triage guidance and recommendations produced by the Services for your own sites or client sites you are authorized to manage.

Authorization to run diagnostic captures on a site means you own the site, you have been engaged by the owner to manage or troubleshoot it, or you otherwise have explicit permission from the site owner. Running captures on sites you do not own and are not authorized to access is a violation of this AUP regardless of whether those actions cause visible harm.

2. Prohibited Conduct

2.1 Unauthorized Site Access

You may not use the Services to capture, diagnose, or analyze any website that you do not own and are not authorized to access. This applies regardless of whether the site is publicly accessible. Loupely captures server-side data through the WordPress plugin REST API endpoint; triggering that endpoint on a site you do not control is unauthorized access.

2.2 Automated or Bulk Capture

You may not use the Services in any automated, scripted, or programmatic manner that bypasses normal user interaction. This includes using scripts, bots, headless browsers, or any other automated tooling to trigger captures or scans without a human user initiating each one, and building tools or services that call Loupely’s backend endpoints directly without using the intended interfaces.

2.3 Credit and Subscription System Abuse

You may not:

  • create multiple accounts for the purpose of obtaining credits, free scans, or other benefits intended for a single user;
  • share account credentials with other individuals for the purpose of splitting the cost of credits, plans, or subscriptions across multiple users who would otherwise need separate accounts;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or manipulate the credit consumption, subscription gating, or account verification logic.

2.4 Resale and Unauthorized Distribution

You may not resell, sublicense, or provide stand-alone access to the Services to third parties. Agency Annual plan holders may use Loupely to diagnose client sites they manage but may not offer Loupely diagnostic access as a stand-alone deliverable or billable product to clients.

2.5 Security Research and Probing

You may not use the Services to probe, scan, or test the security of the Loupely infrastructure, backend systems, or API endpoints. If you discover a security vulnerability in the Services, you must report it through the process described at useloupely.com/security rather than exploiting or further investigating it.

2.6 Harmful, Illegal, or Abusive Use

You may not use the Services in connection with any activity that violates any applicable law or regulation, infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party, transmits malware or destructive code through the Services, or facilitates or assists any other person in conducting activities prohibited in this AUP.

2.7 Interference with the Services

You may not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on Loupely’s infrastructure, interferes with or disrupts the integrity or performance of the Services, or attempts to gain access to the Services through means other than the interfaces Loupely provides.

3. Consequences of Violation

Loupely may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice where immediate action is required, suspend or terminate your account, remove or disable access to any content or capability associated with a violation, report the conduct to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities, or pursue any available legal remedies.

Where a violation is minor and appears inadvertent, Loupely will generally attempt to notify you and provide an opportunity to correct the behavior before taking account action. Loupely makes no commitment to provide such notice where the violation is serious, involves unauthorized access to third-party sites, or involves deliberate circumvention of platform controls.

4. Reporting Violations

If you believe someone is using the Services in a manner that violates this AUP, contact us at support@useloupely.com. Please include as much specific information as possible about the nature of the suspected violation. We investigate all credible reports.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at useloupely.com and update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on your account. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of a revised AUP constitutes acceptance of the changes.
