A communication interface that allows software to send and receive structured data using standard web requests. WordPress uses its REST API to power the block editor, WooCommerce dynamic features, and many plugins. When the REST API is blocked by a security plugin or server firewall, features that depend on it fail silently. Loupely connects the Chrome extension to the WordPress plugin through an authenticated REST API endpoint.
